What we collect

When you request our free interview scorecard, we collect the email address you enter on the form. If you create a Culture Match account or make a purchase, we also collect the account and billing details needed to provide the service. We use standard analytics to understand how the site is used.

Why we collect it

We use your email to send the scorecard you asked for and occasional related emails about hiring and Culture Match. Account and billing details are used only to operate the product and process payments. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in the footer of any message we send.

We don't sell your data

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Culture Match (for example, email delivery and payment processing), and only as needed to provide the service.

How we use AI, and our service providers

Culture Match uses AI to generate survey questions, analyze employee survey responses, and produce interview guides. To do this, the role and company details you provide and the survey responses you collect are sent to our AI provider for processing. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your data, your employees' data, or survey responses to train AI models.

We rely on a small set of service providers (sub-processors) to operate the product, and share data with them only as needed to provide the service:

  • Anthropic — AI processing (Claude)
  • Supabase — database and authentication
  • Stripe — payment processing (we never store card numbers)
  • Resend — email delivery
  • Vercel — hosting
  • PostHog — product analytics

Survey respondent privacy

When employees answer a Culture Match survey, their responses are analyzed in anonymous performance-tier groups (for example, top performers vs. others). Employers receive insights about what separates their best people — they are not shown which individual employee gave which answer.

Connecting AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini)

You can connect a third-party AI assistant to your Culture Match account so it can help you run your hiring workflow. Connections are made over a secure, standards-based authorization flow (OAuth 2.1), or with a personal access token you generate yourself. In both cases:

  • Access is granted only after you explicitly approve it on a Culture Match consent screen that states what the assistant will be able to do.
  • Once connected, an assistant acts on your behalf and can view and manage your projects, generate surveys and interview guides, and send survey invitations to the people you add. It cannot see your password.
  • It cannot make payments — any purchase is always completed by you, in your own browser.
  • You can revoke access at any time from the "API & Connections" page in your dashboard, which immediately stops the assistant from accessing your account.
  • Data you access through a connected assistant is also handled by that assistant's provider (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google) under their own privacy terms.

Access tokens and credentials are stored only in hashed form, and all data is encrypted in transit.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing the address below.
